"I Am Ozzy", debuted at No. 2 on the New York Times' hardcover non-fiction best-seller list. The book was published on January 25 in the U.S., nearly two years after it was first expected to arrive. "I Am Ozzy" chronicles the legendary metal icon's life from his working-class beginnings in Birmingham, England to his initial fame with BLACK SABBATH to his massive solo career and forays into television.

Although the book delves into Ozzy's battles with drugs and tragedies such as the death of his guitarist Randy Rhoads, he told The Pulse of Radio what makes his memoir different from those of other rock stars. "Whenever you read a rock 'n' roll celebrity's book, it's always about the sex, the drugs, the rock 'n' roll and all the rest of it," he said. "My story is that the humor has kept my head above water from time to time. There's a lot of tongue-in-cheek stuff about it. Even with counting the tragedies that happened along the way, I tried to be a little bit light-hearted about it, you know?"

Ozzy is currently finishing up his new studio album, which was first called "Soul Sucka" but will now go out under a different title.

Ozzy also says that his long-running Ozzfest tour will be back this summer after a one-year hiatus.
